Chris Birgen, Principal

I want to extend a heartfelt welcome to all of our returning families and those new to our school community. It's a joy to have every one of you as part of our Carol Rae Ranch Elementary family.

For those who may not know me yet, my name is Mr. Birgen, and I have had the privilege of serving as principal here at Carol Rae Ranch Elementary for a few years. With a quarter-century of experience in education, all within the esteemed Gilbert Public Schools district, I bring a deep commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Before assuming the role of principal, I had the honor of serving as a special education teacher at Greenfield Junior High. This experience has profoundly shaped my understanding of the diverse needs of students and the importance of providing personalized support to help each child reach their full potential.
