Welcome back, students!  Here is a little bit to introduce myself to all of you…

This will be my 20th year in gifted education.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my teaching degree and immediately began my graduate studies in elementary education with a gifted endorsement.  Prior to coming to Carol Rae Ranch, I provided support to Kyrene schools and their gifted programs, in addition to coordinating all gifted testing and professional development for Kyrene teachers. I have three children, ages 20, 19, and 17.  My two oldest will be in college this year (CGCC and NAU) and my youngest will be a senior at Basha High School.

My husband, three children, and I live in Chandler.  We have a 15 year old dog named Millie who is a bichon/shih-tzu mix and a 9 year old Parson Russell Terrier Mix from the Humane Society named Abby.  We also have a 2 ½ year old Australian Shepard/Pit Bull mix named Buddy.  He truly believes he is everyone’s “buddy” and like to give hugs to every person who comes into the house, including strangers.  In addition to our three dogs, we have an albino bunny rabbit.  He is pure white with pink eyes and loves to hang out with us on the couch watching TV.

I have lived in Arizona for 38 years.  I feel like I am practically a native of Arizona!  We enjoy traveling, going out on our boat, entertaining with friends, relaxing in the pool, watching movies, and spending time with our extended family.

Gifted classes will take place in room 108 this year.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!
